1.     AGREEMENT

Payment of booking fee (deposit), payment upfront or email confirmation is evidence of the clients acceptance of these terms.

2.     BOOKINGS & CONFIRMATION

Bookings are taken on a first come, first serve basis. As a freelance makeup artist, I cannot hold your booking with confirmation.

2.1    For non-commercial bookings, a booking fee (deposit) is required to hold your booking and is deducted from the total. Unless paying upfront, the balance of the booking is payable on or before the booking date.

2.2     For commercial bookings, email confirmation is acceptable and full payment required within 7 days.

3.     PAYMENT TERMS

3.1    For non-commercial bookings, a non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the total fee quoted is to be paid upon booking to secure the booking. The balance of the specified fee must be paid either on or prior to the booking.

3.2    The fees quoted do not include costs associated with parking and/or any other unique or special requirement/s that are not made known to us at the time of the quote, such as tattoo, bruise or vein coverage.

3.3    Payments can be made by cash, bank deposit/transfer or paypal. Personal cheques can only be accepted 8 weeks prior to the booking. Credit card/eftpos facilities are not available - however you can pay with your credit card using your online banking.

3.4    Prices quoted are valid for 30 days from the quotation date and are subject to change.

4.     CANCELLATION POLICY

4.1     The booking fee (deposit) is non-refundable & non-transferable if booking is cancelled.

4.2     We accept that you may wish to cancel the booking either by choice, or because of cancellation of your event. We may, in our sole discretion, charge you cancellation fee on top of retaining your booking fee (deposit) based on a genuine pre-estimate of the loss suffered by us in reserving the date. We may, in our sole discretion, agree to waive all or any part of the cancellation fee where the cancellation is a result of circumstances, which in our opinion, are beyond your reasonable control. We may ask for you to provide such evidence as may reasonably be requested to support your claim. Doubt, insufficient funds or change in creative or style ideas are not considered circumstances beyond your control.

4.3    50% cancellation fee applies for termination of services for any reason. This amount may be covered by your booking fee (deposit). If it is not, you will be invoiced for the amount owing. Cancellations within 12 weeks of the date of your event incur a 100% cancellation fee and if you have not already paid the full amount, you shall be invoiced as such.

4.4     In the event that I may cancel your booking for unforseen reasons, all money paid other than the trial shall be refunded.

5.     CHANGES TO NUMBER OF FACES

Should the number of faces or the services you require change within 12 weeks of the event, you will still be charged for those  faces and services. This is based on a loss suffered by us in reserving the date & times required to fulfil your original booking.

6.     GENERAL DISCLOSURES & HYGIENE

6.1    You acknowledge that services provide involve me applying skin products directly to the relevant parts of your body & therefore agree that you have disclosed any & all medical or other conditions known to you which a reasonable person would disclose, including but not limited to skin sensitivity, conditions such as active herpes (cold sores) & general allergies for yourself & the other people who are receiving services. In doing so, you agree that we are not liable for, & will indemnify us from any & all claims, liabilities, costs, loss, & causes of action relating to personal injury or death arsing directly or indirectly as a result of your failure to disclose pertinent information relating to medical or other conditions.

6.2    Other than lip liners, lipsticks & glosses, Christina cannot use your makeup products due to industry hygiene standards.

7.     SURCHARGES   

Surcharges apply for early starts prior to 8:00am, Sundays, public holidays and New Years Eve.  Early starts may commence from the start of my travel time should your location be more than 30 minutes from Sydney CBD.

8.     TRAVEL & TOLLS   

Travel fees apply for locations more than 20km from Sydney CBD to cover time, vehicle use + petrol. Tolls are calculated by use of the sydneymotorways.com.au website and are rounded to the nearest five cents. Should I be required to fly to your destination, all expenses including accommodation, meals and sundries are payable by the client.

9.     VENUE PARKING

Hotel or other car park parking fee's are payable by the client if free parking is not available. These are either payable on the day, or in the case of metered street parking you may be invoiced after the booking is complete.

10.     SUPPLIER RECOMMENDATIONS   

My referrals are based entirely on experience, attitude, talent & skills of suppliers I recommend. Services of 3rd party suppliers are entirely their responsibility & I accept no liability.  

11.     UNABLE TO ATTEND   

Should I be ill or unable to attend your booking, all attempts will be made to send a colleague to you, who will be fully briefed on your look & the products required. If I am unable to find a colleague to fulfil your booking, 100% of services paid will be refunded, not including your trial.

12.    PHOTOGRAPHS

12.1    All photographs taken by Christina Cleary are the property of Christina Cleary & may be used for marketing purposes with no further reference to the client.

12.2    In the event you have hired a professional photographer, you agree to supply Christina Cleary with a selection of photographs demonstrating her work for portfolio, promotional or marketing purposes if requested.
