A professional make-up artist is very important, especially on your wedding day. Many women don't understand how to apply make-up for photographs, and after all the time and money spent on pulling your day together it's natural to want every aspect of your special occasion to be perfect!
You will look like you but more beautiful!
I can do basic styling, however my expertise is in make-up application and this is where I like to concentrate. In my experience, it is best to have a separate hairstylist, especially for your wedding. This saves a lot of time and in most cases I can work while your hair is being styled. Many people think that they will save money by booking a make-up artist who combines hairstyling, but often this is not the case.
Please allow at least 30 minutes for your make-up application.
I accept Paypal, credit card via Paypal, cash and bank deposits.
Yes! Please contact me for a mobile service quote.
I use MAC, Dermalogica, NARS, Stilla, Scott Barnes, Kryolan, Jemma Kidd, Christian Dior, Lancôme and Estee Lauder to name a few. All the products I use I have tried and tested over the years and they are products I trust and personally use!
Collect pictures from magazines so I can get an idea of the look you would like her to create. If you are having a One on One Lesson, please bring your make-up bag with you.
For Brides, collect pictures from magazines so I can get an idea of the look you would like her to create. Keep in mind that your wedding is not the time to start experimenting - stick to an enhanced version of your everyday self. If already chosen, please bring a photograph or similar of your wedding dress and let me know whether you will be wearing your hair up or down. Knowing the colour of your attendants outfits, flowers and other wedding accents will help me create a look for you that will blend in perfectly with your wedding overall.
Please come to your consultation with clean, lightly exfoliated and moisturised skin. If you wax, it is a good idea to do this a few days prior.
I am not a sales person and I will not try to sell you products. I am an artist! For consultations other than Bridal, I usually ask you to bring a range of your favourite lipsticks and lipglosses. I will then chose one that suits the look I have created so you can carry use it later on for touching up...that way there is no extra expense to you!
At Bridal trial consultations, once the consultation is complete and you are happy with your look, I will make a list of products I have used and that you may require for touch up's (such as blotting powders, lipsticks and lip-glosses). You can then buy these yourself or I can purchase them for you (at your cost) and bring them to you on your wedding day. Or, I can offer you a pot of lipstick or gloss that will allow you enough to touch-up with for the occasion.
It is best to have your make-up done last so that it compliments your hair and looks as fresh as possible before your event.
I have a testimonials page where you can read honest accounts of my work by my lovely clients.
Absolutely! I am fastidiously hygienic! I professional make-up artist will always clean between clients!
Any make-up artist that answers yes to this question is not telling you the truth. Kissing, eating, drinking and sweating will shift your make-up and you will require touch ups. However, I am able to use products that are right for your skin type that will hold your make-up for as long as possible.
There is plenty of free, underground security parking at my home. If you require a cab on departure, my concierge service will be happy to organise that for you.
Yes! Simply contact me for payment details so that I can either mail or email you one of my pretty certificates.
