Since a very early age I have been surrounded by and inspired by beauty and art. From dolly corner in pre school (where I was always sneaking away from nap time to dress up as a ballerina) through to the end of high school, arts were the only subjects I enjoyed.

During my time at boarding school (Frensham) I would give my friends makeovers or facials - 18 years later, girls still remind me of the times I'd do their makeup for school dances! I never thought it would become a career. Prior to the HSC and based on my photographic work at Frensham, I was told I had won a scholarship to study photography at KvB (now Raffles Insitute of Design). I completed my HSC and headed straight to college. I was going to be a Photographer!

While living and working as a Photographer in Hawaii in the late 90's/early 2000's, I would often feel frustrated at the local Makeup Artists work. I would direct them or wait till they left the studio and correct their work. With encouragement from colleagues, clients and several other Makeup Artists, I decided to start working on a career as a Makeup Artist. However, throughout my 20's I held corporate jobs, taking makeup bookings whenever I could. When I was almost 30 I had an epiphany - I wasn't doing what I was here to do. I decided to take makeup artistry full time. After all, it was what I loved the most. It felt right.

I still enjoy photography but makeup is my true passion. It comes naturally. I haven't looked back.

I've worked with women and men of all ages and skin tones, well known celebrities, actresses and models, plus some amazing photographers, stylists and hairstylists. With my valuable photography and corporate experience, I've built a business I'm very proud of with regular clients...and I've made some wonderful friendships along the way!

Through my work, I hope to inspire and make the world a more beautiful place...one face at a time.
